Design
The D 7PTX 5.1 is a THX Ultra2 system designed for easy integration into a 'real world' living room. As well as being the most compact Ultra2 system, it also looks good in its own right, with a fully integrated feel to every aspect (a prime example being the aluminum tube from the floor stands, an element that’s continued visually in the design of the speakers). The finish matches flatscreens beautifully.

Technology
The D 7 LCR is a shielded speaker with five separate drivers: two 5.5-inch woofers provide deep bass; two 2.5-inch drivers for midrange, with one 1-inch tweeter for treble. This array provides symphony orchestra sound pressure levels with no apparent effort. There are two pairs of input terminals, designed to allow for fine-tuning the frequency characteristics according to placement.
The tweeters feature a dual-concentric diaphragm to extend the frequency range, and center plug technology that cools the voice coil to allow greater power handing.
The D 7 SUR is a 3-way dipole speaker with a 5.5-inch woofer, four 2.5-inch midranges and two 1-inch tweeters. The D 7 SUB has a 15-inch woofer and a rated output of 400 watts.
