The C 400 series also has a compact 2-way loudspeaker, the C 403 with 140mm/5½in woofers. It is a surprisingly powerful loudspeaker, and it's just as impressive as the two large floorstander models. C 403 is a high-efficiency loudspeaker with increased power handling capability. The C 403s are perfect as standalone front speakers, if you need compact cabinets with great dynamics, but they are equally well suited as rear speakers in a surround sound setup, complemented by either the C 407 or C 405 at the front.
