The use of extruded aluminum profiles contributes tremendously to the amazing charisma of the A 70 series. To obtain their second-to-none finish, they are precision machined with robots and CNC mills, and afterward are hand polished and the surface is anodized for added beauty.
Despite its unique, sophisticated design, the A 707 does not demand attention when you enter a room; in fact, it integrates seamlessly with almost any home interior, reflecting its surroundings in its mirror-like surface. And, since quality loudspeakers are our heritage, there's absolutely no compromise when it comes to sound. Careful thought has been given to providing flexible positioning options for mounting and placing of these high-performance loudspeakers.
The A 707 can be partnered with an A 70 CEN center-channel speaker, A 702 rear surround speakers and an A 70 SUB to create an elegant and compact 5.1 home theater system. Or, partner it with an A 70 SUB to create a 2-channel music system that pleases the ears just as much as it pleases the eyes. The choice is yours.
Due to its built-in solid base, the A 707 is incredibly stable. Connection to amplifiers is very easy and reliable, due to the use of platinum-plated push terminals that are beautifully integrated into the base.
Technology
The A 707 is a 2.5-way, triple bass reflex speaker, with a configuration divided into two cavities. The 2.5-way configuration delivers the best of both worlds: The integrated tweeter and mid-woofer reproduce the full frequency range for the coherent, harmonious sound expected from traditional 2-way systems. The additional woofer blends in below 150Hz and adds the extra cone area and power handling needed to provide full low bass fidelity. The rigid aluminum cabinets ensure that the drivers have optimum acoustic conditions, with minimal distortion.
